Description
Linen, cut as a shift: straight and boxy, with no waist seam to interrupt the line. The fold-over cowl collar gives the neckline structure, which is what separates this from a plain crew or V-neck. Short sleeves, a hem at or just above the knee, and pockets sewn into both side seams.

- Silhouette — Straight, boxy shift that falls away from the body. No waist seam, relaxed through the hips.
- Neckline — Structured fold-over cowl collar.
- Sleeves — Cap-length short sleeves, covering the shoulder and leaving the arms free.
- Hem — Falls at or just above the knee.
- Pockets — Discreet side seam pockets on both sides, cut so they do not disturb the clean line.
- Range — Six colours: Yellow, Black, Baby Blue, Dark Blue, Purple and Red. Sizes XS to 2XL.

Our origin story
It started with a price that was never real
A dress marked $120, struck through to $59 — and never once sold at $120. The first number exists to make the second feel like a rescue. It works often enough that most of the industry does it.
We found that tedious, and slightly insulting. So Morensia was built the other way round: around eighty pieces, each priced at what it costs, from a small team in Saint Anne, Illinois. When something is genuinely reduced, the old price is a price it really sold at.

A crossed-out price on this site is a price the piece was really sold at. Everything else is simply priced, on Thursday the same as today.

Every page tells you the fabric, the closure, whether it is lined and whether it has pockets. If a hem falls at the knee, we say knee.
