Morensia is a clothing shop for women and men. Around eighty pieces in total — dresses, tops, trousers, shorts, outerwear and matching sets — chosen one at a time, with a promise that the price on the tag is the price.
The whole idea
Most clothing shops sell you a discount. A dress is marked $120, struck through to $59, and it has never once been sold at $120. The number exists to make the second number feel like a rescue. It works often enough that the whole industry does it.
We find that tedious, and slightly insulting. So Morensia prices a piece at what it costs. When something is genuinely reduced it goes to the Sale page and the old price is a real price it was really sold at. Everything else is simply priced. There is no countdown timer. There is no “today only”. If you come back on Thursday it will cost what it costs on Thursday.
Eighty pieces, not five thousand
The womenswear runs across midi, maxi and mini dresses, blouses, wide-leg trousers, shorts and two-piece sets. The menswear is built around everyday staples — band-collar and corduroy shirting, cargo trousers, linen shorts, bombers, blazers and tailored vests. Within that the range is deliberately narrow. Each piece is here because it does something the others do not.
It also means we can describe things properly. Every product page tells you the fabric, the closure, whether it is lined, and whether it has pockets. If a hem falls at the knee we say so rather than calling it a midi and hoping. Measurements are approximate, because fabric and manufacturing carry real tolerances — but the descriptions are specifications, not marketing.
What we will not do
- Fake scarcity. No “3 people are viewing this”. No fictional stock counters that reset when you reload the page.
- Bury the terms. Returns, shipping and privacy are written in plain language, not in the smallest type the law allows.
- Hide. Our registered company, address and email are on every page of this site. Most shops that take your money will not tell you where they are.
How it works in practice
Prices are in US dollars. We ship within the United States only, and shipping is free on every order — no minimum spend, no threshold to reach. Orders leave within one to two business days and typically arrive within five to eight. Returns are open for 30 days on unworn items with tags attached. If something arrives faulty, damaged, or simply not what we described, we pay the return shipping and replace or refund it — that one is on us, not on you.

Why we started
I started Morensia because I was tired of shopping in a category that treats its customers as marks. The fake original price, the endless sale, the review section nobody believes — none of it is necessary to sell good clothes. It is just easier than being straight with people.
So we do the harder version. We price the piece at its price. We tell you what it is made of. We put our address on the page. If we get something wrong, we pay to fix it. That is not a brand story, it is just how a shop ought to run. If we ever fall short of that, write to me.
